Virtue and the natural goods: an Aristotelian perspective

The main question is whether Aristotle is right to treat virtue or virtuous activity as an intrinsic good rather than as an instrumental one.

 

The Institute of Philosophy hosts regular seminars on the Practical, the political, the ethical aspects of philosophy. The forum generally meets fortnightly in term time.
