Every year we run a wide range of academic and public events. If you have an innovative idea for a conference or project that you’d like to run in London, please let us know! Although we cannot partner with everyone who contacts us, we are especially eager to hear from people with cutting-edge research agendas, and who might collaborate with current affiliates of the Institute of Philosophy (although this isn’t necessary). By partnering with our Institute, we can provide conference rooms in the Senate House, help arrange catering, conference stationary, registration, and communication with delegates, thereby leaving organizers free to deal with the academic content of the conference.

Please note: We are not a grant-giving body, so we cannot fund your event or project. We typically partner with academics who are affiliated with a university and who have the funds needed to organize their proposed event. If you plan to apply for a grant and would benefit from the support of the Institute of Philosophy, please contact our Deputy Director. Our collaborations are both national and international.
